Vintage Industrial Dukane Rack Mount Cabinet w Amp/Tuner/Phono/Preamp/Mixer
The cabinet and components are all Dukane except for the Garrard turntable. It is 37" tall, 22" wide counting the protrusions for the vents and 19 deep. The top piece is a pre monitor and mixer and I think a preamplifier. It is model 1A760B serial A375458. I could NOT get this to feed the amplifier.
It does turn the other components on and off and you do get the key for the switch. I tried inputting into all 6 small rca jacks and tried the 2 small rca output jacks and got nothing to the amp. Next is the tuner model 10A135A serial A392356. Next is the pull out turntable mount. The mount itself is a Dukane model 11A336.
In that mount is a Garrard Synchro-Lab 66B. The platter does spin on all 4 speeds but none of the automatic functions work and there is no stylus in it. It is supposed to have the twin flip needles but I didn't feel a stylus on any of it. Next is the amplifier and it is model 1A753. It puts out 50 watts and it is working.It had all the output connections bridged together with a single speaker wire coming out of the top 2 terminals. I just hooked the wire coming out of that to a speaker and it is working and sounded good. I don't know what that long thing with all the connector screws on it that is in the bottom of the cabinet.
Cabinet itself is pretty cool looking and in decent condition. It does have some scratches and some small rust spots but overall a great industrial look and how often do you find a rack mount for a turntable?
The lock you see setting on top of it in one of the pictures is for the back door. It was removed when I found this in an estate and I don't think it is working correctly and has no handle for it.
Top latch for the door on the very top to access the preamp is working good. All I did to this was wipe it down with a damp rag on the outside.Inside is still pretty dusty/dirty. Finish is a gray/grey and almost a metalflake but not really. That is old masking tape you see on the one side of the cabinet. 1 3/4 hours from Washington DC.
